Back on America's ground

It's early December 2021 and Mr Coronavirus is still around. Another variant is out there, Omicron.

We didn't know about it when we bought our tickets a month or so ago. And of course we didn't cancel anything and kept our plan, there's no plan B!

Toulouse -> Frankfurt -> Boston

Our dear Lola is able to take a few days off and welcomes us at the airport, then drives us to her place.

It feels good to be together. 👍

Lola's "babies" are doing fine.

And just to keep my reputation the little projects that have been waiting for a year are back on track! A black chimney, electrical work for the garage and a barn door for our bedroom.

Joey also comes over.

Lively discussions as usual.

Overall this past year has taken a toll on people and it shows: lots of people have left their jobs and businesses struggle to find capable new workers says Ryan; universities have become way too lenient on academics, says Joey.
